"Your music is "iyashi-kei"
Your music makes me feel good and relax. They heal my mind. I feel like floating in the pool. I respect you to compose those music. In Japanese, we call your music "iyashi-kei". "Iyashi-kei" means something to heal minds. "Iyashi-kei" is now very popular in Japan."

"These multinational ambientalists propound a theory about the kind of dubs the rastas listen to in Neuromancer. Probably not what Gibson had in mind, but futuristic and bass-heavy."

Xanitra about pulseVibe:

pulseVibe dwells somewhere in between ambient textures and chill out beats. This special sound, is something that should be experienced by everyone.

I entered the pulseVibe very unaware of what to expect. Their vast song collection was at my fingertips, and I started from top to bottom. What struck me was a world I haven't set my foot in before. A wonderful world, of unheard sounds, tasty experiences, and some unique surprises. This world was to me sometimes sad, but other times it was happy. Sometimes even, the pulseVibe world can be a very catchy place to be.

Playful textures that toy with the mind is a rare thing among music today. We see it more seldom in music that is slave to a record label, than music that is as free as the artist in this free world we live in. So it comes as no surprise that I found pulseVibe on the internet, rather than on a CD. pulseVibe's fresh sound is quite naked and reveals everything at once, which is a very good thing compared to many other more numb and closed ambient textures that I've heard before.

I recommend pulseVibe to anybody who wants a new world to venture into. You may want to travel there, you may want to stay there for a while, but I warn you. You may want to live there once you've tasted the different flavours of what this world has to offer. Welcome to pulseVibe.

Secret Archives of the Vatican about pulseVibe:

If superb sounds and great mixes are what you’re after then pulseVibe is definitely worth checking out.

I’ve downloaded 5 tracks and I’ll be going back for more. Musically pulseVibe is very difficult to pin down running from fast paced jungle to dark ambient and touching lots of bases in between. The one thing not to expect from pulseVibe is something very hard rather expect eclectic intelligent electronica.

I’m not particularly into ambient stuff but if you like it then make sure you check out Equalz and Instantan which use superb sounds and textures to paint interesting soundscapes. I’m very impressed with the use of reverbs and effects as they manage to really add to the tracks without swamping things which is far to easy to do. As I say it’s not really my cup of tea but I can recognise the quality of it and I’m sure if you’re a fan of the ambient scene you’ll like it. There are some nice juxtapositions in Equalz especially.

What I am very into is Bjiork and thus Aufewig really appeals, there are few artists who can get away with likening themselves to Bjiork but this track had me hooked. There is a great mix of slightly mangled Classical sounds, distorted drums and solid drums. AufEwig also manages to build beautifully starting gently and managing real emotional content by the end of the track. The haunting quality and the feeling of unease that the track builds are not easy to put together and keep you waiting to see what is coming and the ability to integrate new ideas and sounds even more than halfway through the track make it worth waiting. If you like electronica that doesn’t limit itself to the dancefloor this track is one that I’d have to recommend.

Kalkgestein shows an ability to master the minimalist end of the market. The sparse melody sets me in mind of medival Japanese court music. While I’d prefer a little more clutter it’s a track that I replayed more than once.

Sensing which was the last of the tracks I downloaded is a more pacey track, with intelligent drum and bass elements. It’s got a nice light 2 step feel and juxtaposes some nice dirty bass synths with some nice clear crisp ring modulated bell sounds. Well worth the time to download.

I don’t know that I’d play out any of pulseVibe’s stuff but I don’t think that would be his intention anyway. I’m very impressed by the range of sounds he uses and by the clarity of the mixes put together. I like the range of material he produces and the fact that he manages to often capture me emotionally especially in Aufewig. Of the material I downloaded that and Sensing were my favorites and I’d more than recommend you to check them out.

Scientist about Blau (BioPhonC BlueDot remix):

Once again somebody refixed a fantastic pulseVibe tune with so much fine, mystical feeling and just makes it so irresistable BioPhonc'ily blue. A trip thru the garden of your mind. Smell it!

Simeon 38X about CurryBento (JunkFoodMix):

I should really listen to more DnB music. This song contains some of pulseVibes best drumwork. Thanks for rekindling my love of Jungle music pV!... ;D

12.04.2004
Simeon 38X about Once:

Catchy Retrofuturistic track. I can almost imagine this being played in the underground at Deep House venues. Well... i'd certainly dance.

12.04.2004
Simeon 38X about Akogare (WasserMix):

Surprisingly hardcore and noisy for pulseVibe. I half expected the robotic samples of VENOM8888's 'meat culture' to pop up. Well done pulseVibe!... :D

12.04.2004
Simeon 38X about Musician (remix):

Hmm, hard to pin down. Could be a genre unto itself, the best way of summarizing is 'Break Ambients' I guess.

12.04.2004
Simeon 38X about Nihon:

I love this kind of oriental music, if only it was accompanied by some Zen Poetry.

12.04.2004
Simeon 38X about Fairytale:

It sounds like a musical hybrid of pulseVibe and Knar... in otherwords im impressed. Has a fantasy element to the way it sounds.

13.01.2004
Simeon 38X about Lichtbruch:

As i've come to expect of pulseVibe, here unsurprisingly is a track of high-quality sound and originality. Nice work!... :D

10.01.2004
Simeon 38X about Blau (DotMix):

Like Primal Screams tune "Kowalski", only cooler...

27.11.2003
Scientist about Lichtbruch:

pulseVibe- where's the pulse, where's the vibe? RIGHT HERE. Close your eyes and hear light breaking into pieces. Brilliant!

30.08.2003
Simeon 38X about Jadestein:

Trippy, hypnotic tune from the one and only Pulsevibe. Fantastic drum samples and ambient synth work.

30.08.2003
Simeon 38X about About the Dot:

Why is it I can pick anyone of Pulsevibes tracks and then instantly love it. As long as Pulsevibe keeps making stuff like this im a fan!...

29.08.2003
Simeon 38X about PantsuDot:

How can such a simple song evoke so much emotion in me?. I love Pulsevibe!!!...

29.08.2003
Simeon 38X about RainbowDot:

Pulsevibe evokes such emotionally stirring pieces. This is fine example of what the artist is capable of.

29.08.2003
Simeon 38X about Seeläufer:

Intelligent and rhythmic. Though relaxing it manages to keep Pulsevibes experimental touch.

29.08.2003
Simeon 38X about Blau:

Kinda like 808 state but without tthe vocals and guitar riffs. I highly recommend this song for its originality!...

"Wahnsinnig viele wahnsinnig gute athmosphärische Tracks gibts hier von pulseVibe. Offenbar ein(e?) Einzelkünstler(in?), vom Graphicstyle her alles Manga-Angehaucht, teils düstere Sounds, meist langsam, immer gut.
